Presenting contemporary Northwest Coast indigenous art

To celebrate this landmark exhibition of contemporary Northwest Coast indigenous art at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, Public Good designed the exhibition catalogue Transforming Spirit. Consisting of 49 donated works from collectors Jamie Cameron and Chris Bredt – the show featured sculptures, masks, objects, paintings and drawings of cultural significance.

The large format catalogue featured highly detailed photography – capturing tactile qualities, material forms, textures and surfaces. Presented in a contemporary layout with generous white space and scaled multiple view images, the catalogue is bold and dramatic while respectfully recognizing the objects cultural origins and original narrative.
